Your Existing Field,
Dramatically Upgraded

FieldShield™ is not a replacement surface — it's a deep enhancement. Crumb rubber is worked into your existing natural grass root zone, creating hidden cushioning, drainage channels, and surface stability that you can feel but never see.

Four Benefits You Can Measure on Day One

FieldShield™ upgrades natural grass from the ground up—improving safety, cooling the surface, strengthening turf health, and reducing water demand.

Grass Health & Longevity

Supports thicker, greener turf under heavy use by reducing blade scarring and clipping, improving root development, and helping eliminate hard-pan conditions that destroy natural fields.

Cooler Than Artificial Turf

Rubberized natural grass stays dramatically cooler than synthetic turf—often by 30–40+ degrees in summer conditions— helping reduce heat stress for athletes and staff.

Safer Playing Surface

Adds a resilient, cushioned feel that helps reduce ankle, knee, and lower-body injuries and can lessen head/concussion-impact risk— without the heat and hardness associated with turf systems.

Sustainable Materials

Each application recycles ~ 6,000 tires from the waste stream, giving performance upgrade that is also a responsible environmental choice.

Ready for Play Immediately.

FieldShield™ is a grass/soil enhancement—not a replacement surface—so you avoid weeks of downtime. Rubber is integrated into the existing grass, soil profile, and root zone to create a resilient, cushioned layer beneath the surface.

1
Prep

Open the Root Zone

The surface is prepared to allow rubber to integrate into the soil profile and root zone—enhancing resilience and reducing compaction without removing your existing grass surface.

⏱ Minimal disruption
2
Apply

Install Recycled Rubber

Recycled ground tire rubber is applied and worked into the grass and soil profile, creating a cushioned, stable layer that improves traction, durability, and moisture behavior.

⏱ Installed in hours, not weeks
3
Settle

Integrate & Activate

Rubber settles into the root zone as a sub-surface system that supports healthier turf, improved drainage, and moisture retention—so fields recover faster and stay playable in more conditions.

⏱ Immediate use in most cases
4
Maintain

Long-Lasting Performance

Enjoy safer footing, cooler surface temps, improved durability, and reduced water demand. Maintenance treatments are typically needed only every 3–5 years.

Trusted by Coaches, ADs, and Field Managers

Rubberized natural grass helps programs practice through tough weather, improves traction and playability, and supports safer conditions without switching to turf.

★★★★★

"When I first heard of this idea of rubberizing the field I was skeptical. After seeing the superior condition of the field after 12 weeks of play, and the play that could have resulted in a major neck injury, I am convinced that rubberizing the field was one of the best facility moves we made this year or any other year. Turf Solutions has made a difference."

★★★★★

"The rubberized field was much softer, much greener, and much thicker. The kids and the coaches loved the cushioning the field provided. We noticed how the field remained green during season change, and the difference the rubber made during wet, rainy periods. I could easily attest to the good it does for our practice field."

Sam Harrell
Head Football Coach, Ennis High School, Ennis, TX
★★★★★

"Once you applied the crumb rubber, our coaches and players could tell a significant difference in the playing surface. The field was softer and more enjoyable to play on. The amazing part of the crumb rubber is the effect it had on the grass. It seemed like in no time at all, the worn spots were filled in and the field looked as if we had never been on it in the spring. I would definitely recommend Turf Solutions and the crumb rubber product to anyone trying to make major improvements to their playing fields."
